Here you will find a growing list of image processing “Learning Modules”. A Learning Module is the combination of a video tutorial created by a leading imager along with a Deep Sky West data set.

Learners, from beginners to advanced, follow the instructor’s lead while processing identical data starting from masters. The first 2 modules feature NGC 3576 and M83—both taken at DSW South in Chile with a TOA-150 + FLI ML16200 + AP1600AE-L.

Eric Coles and Warren Keller have produced the first two tutorials with more to follow. Eric Coles is well-known as an innovative imager and the techniques you’ll learn are brand new. Many in our community know Warren Keller as the vanguard of astrophotography education for many years. For those who need basic Pixinsight or Photoshop help, we have several free tutorials covering basic software operations coming soon.
